KUNDALINI YOGA + MEDITATION
Kundalini Yoga is known as "The Yoga of Awareness." Brought to the United States in the 70s by Yogi Bhajan, it is a dynamic, powerful tool that is designed to give you an experience of your soul.
In Kundalini Yoga we harness the mental, physical, and nervous energies of the body. This technology precisely and consciously combines breath, postures, and mantra to bring balance to the body, mind, and soul. Kundalini Yoga is a universal and nondenominational practice. Every class is different, usually following a yoga set for a specific purpose (such as strengthening the nervous system or releasing unresolved traumas) followed by a meditation and deep relaxation. Many classes will also include a lecture in the beginning and a gong relaxation at the end.
Come to an all levels flow class where you can expect to meet your neighbor, connect to your breath and your community, and then settle it all down for a seated meditation. This class will leave you awake, aware and empowered.
Yin yoga is a slow-paced style of yoga with poses, or asanas, that are held for longer periods of time (typically 3-5 minutes) in a nourishing and supportive manner. Yin yoga targets the connective tissue and meridians to release long held injuries and stress. As the body ages our natural range of motion lessens due to the decrease of moisture in the body, particularly the synovial fluid in the joint capsules. Yin yoga helps prevent joint rigidity and immobility, while also helping to enliven degenerative tissues and simultaneously nourishing the meridians. Yin yoga is a great compliment to all styles of yoga and level of students.

5RHYTHMS® MOVEMENT MEDITATION
The 5Rhythms®, flowing, staccato, chaos, lyrical and stillness, are a dynamic off-the-mat movement meditation practice. Each of these rhythms are distinct states of being and by learning to embody them we gain access to the teachings that live within these energies. Collectively, the 5Rhythms create a wave of energy which when moved enables us to tap into our truth, express who we are, release what no longer serves us, and step more fully on our soulful path of awakening.
No prior experience needed, please wear clothes you can move freely and sweat in and no props needed, just you and your water bottle.
